Recently, a garden area overgrown with exotic, invasive groundcover and shrubs was completely renovated to create a native plant garden. This area now not only is more aesthetically pleasing but is potential habitat for butterflies, song birds and frogs. Discovering hidden stone steps made the experience like working in the secret garden!

A follow-up in spring and then again in fall 2013 will really show off how this garden will perform. Native wildflowers, grasses, ferns, sedges and shrubs were planted and when they are established and showing their best attributes, this garden is going to be spectacular!
