One of my favorite pastimes is to be active in nature, hiking through different ecosystems, up and down mountainsides. My ultimate favorite pastime, however, is hunting for wildflowers! Below is a gorgeous shot of my first wildflower sighting of the Spring 2013 season, a fleeting display of Hepatica nobilis reproductive structures. This is a must have for shady gardens to increase seasonal diversity.
